Author's Chapter Notes:
I do not own YYH or you.
“I’ll never forget you.” He told you.

“And I’ll never forget you.” You replied back.

Not even the rain could hide your tears, as he got onto the train.

“... What are you watching?” Hiei asked you, as he walked into the room.

“Hiei, let’s make a romantic scene!” You tugged on his black cloak.

“Get off of me.” Hiei growled at you.

“But what about our relationship?” You moaned.

“Hn.” Hiei began to walk away.

“Nnnnoooo!” You wailed and tighten your grasp onto his cloak. Hiei sighed heavily. He knew it was pointless to try and tell you no now.

“So can we?” You gave him great big, puppy eyes. Instead of answering, Hiei started walking away.

“HEY!” You yelled, and ran after him.

“You’re gonna get cavities.” You flatly told Hiei.

“Hn.” He took a lick of his sweet snow.

“Maybe you should get cavities.” You mumbled, as you nibbled on your very own sweet snow.

An eerie quietness swooned over you two. Hiei didn’t even look at you once. Did he think you were ugly? Or perhaps annoying? Oh no, what if he thought you were ugly AND annoying.

“I CAN’T TAKE IT ANYMORE!” You shouted, as the random people stared at you and quickly scattered. Hiei raised an eyebrow at you.

“Sorry I’m ugly AND annoying! But you know you’re not a bed of flowers either, pal!” You continued on shouting, while Hiei just stared dumbfounded at you.

“So just go on. If you don’t want to be near me, then just leave!” You pouted, and turn to look away. Hiei shrugged and got up. He started walking away. You glanced behind you to see him walking away.

“WHY YOU!” You jumped at his waist. Thus, making you fall on top of him.

“What’s your problem?” Hiei snarled.

“What’s mine? What’s yours?” You shouted. Hiei just stared at you, as a bunch of things ran through his spiky head.

“So now you’re ignoring me?” You shouted.

“Moron.” Hiei huffed.

“WHAT?!” You raised a fist to punch him. But not even you could hurt his precious face.

“Just go.” You mumbled, as you proceed to get off of him. “I’m sorry. Just try not dying.” You couldn’t even look him in the eyes.

“... I’ll never forget you.” He mumbled.

“Huh?” You stopped in your steps to look back at him. His face was turning redder and redder as time passed on.

“I’ll never forget you.” He repeated.

“And I’ll never forget you.” You replied. You were on the brink of tears.

“I mean you’re crazy. Yelling at me when I didn’t do anything wrong.” Hiei added.

Any traces of attempted tears were gone. Now you were stark raving mad.

“Well excuuuuuussssseeee mmmmmeeee!” You bellowed. Hiei looked at you.

“You’re such a jerk, you know that!? I can’t believe I ever liked you. What the hell was I thinking? I mean your stupid spirit detective might be an ass, but he doesn’t diss his girlfriend the way you do! And that freaky guy might be completely stupid, but he’s chivalrous, and would rather die than hurt the girl he loves. And then there’s Kurama, the only guy I know who’s so down to earth, that he doesn’t even notice his fan club!” You shrieked.

“Are you done?” Hiei asked you.

“Grah! Burn in hell!” You shouted. You were in disbelief. He was just messing with your heart.

“And that’s why I like you.” Hiei spoke up.

“Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me!” You turned around to shout at him.

“I like you, because you are crazy, and always yelling at me for doing absolutely nothing. Because it’s never a dull moment with you. Most demons wouldn’t even dream coming near you, but I never want to leave your side. You are my sweet snow.”

“Oh Hiei, you’re such an ass.” You sniffed, and jumped hug him.

“Grah!” Hiei yelped, as you both fell over.

“Thank you.” You whispered in his ear.
