“That’s it… just hold still for me. Perfect!”
[Name] smiled to herself as she made a square shaped frame with her hands before she began sketching out the small bird that was perched on the tree branch in front of her. She quickly erased some of the unnecessary pencil marks in her drawing before she began adding a few details to the bird’s face. Well that WAS what she was going to do until a large shadow suddenly appeared behind her, completely scaring off the bird.
“Sup?” a familiar male voice greeted followed by a loud bark.
[Name] scowled under her breath before she turned around on the cement bench she was sat on. “Hey, Kiba. Hey, Akamaru.” [Name] greeted back with a lackluster tone.
Kiba raised an eyebrow, noticing a change in her usual tone of voice. “Y'know, you could at least humor me and pretend to be happy to see me. I just got back from my mission that had me gone for almost a week.”
“Well, I would, but I was kind of in the middle of something.” [Name] frowned, staring down at her drawing.
“Of what,” Kiba stared down at the sketch book in [Name]’s hands before he snatched it up.
“H-Hey, what’re you doing?!” [Name] didn’t exactly like showing people her drawings. Not until they were finished at least.
“You were drawing a bird?” Kiba frowned, staring at the unfinished sketch. ”There aren’t any birds where you’re sitting. You should find a better place to draw.”
“That’s because you scared off the bird I was drawing!” [Name] seethed.
“Well there are plenty of birds out here to draw in the park, [Name]. Just find another spot to bird watch or somethin'.” Kiba tossed her back her sketch book, earning a glare when she nearly dropped it. “Take it from someone who actually knows a thing or two about animals.” Kiba smirked, petting Akamaru on the head.
“Oh yes, please… enlighten me.” [Name] grumbled sarcastically.
Kiba didn’t seem to catch the sarcasm in her voice and took that as his cue to continue. “If you wanna draw something even better, you should draw something more interesting. Like people for instance, hell I’ll even be your muse. I’ll even pose for ya without my shir—OWW!”
Kiba instinctively clutched onto his head as [Name] hit him upside the head with her sketch book before stomping away in a huff.
“YOU ARE SUCH A JERK, KIBA!”
